Our annual RSA Conference Innovation Sandbox (ISB) drew the largest audience ever – with the line stretching from one end of Moscone Center to the other.  Thanks to all of the attendees who filled the ISB space from start to finish – and took advantage of exciting speed dating sessions with venture capital pros (George Hoyem of In-Q-Tel and Spencer Tall of Allegis Capital); Think Tank discussions with Dave Blakely of IDEO and Ryan Lasalle from Accenture Labs), as well as the popular demo stations represented by the Top 10.  ISB had three new interactive white boarders this year with George Kurtz, co-founder of CrowdStrike, Jacob West of HP’s Security Division and Dave Blakely of IDEO, all facilitating great discussions with the attendees – on topics ranging from advanced persistent threats to mobile security to visualizing the future of security.

The Top 10 group of companies vying for the title of Most Innovative Company at RSA Conference 2012 was the most competitive group we’ve seen in this annual program at RSA Conference. Appthority was the unanimous winner but the entire roster initiated great conversation among the judges.

Keep an eye on all of the Top 10 companies for their future impact on the business of security.  Names to remember and pay attention to!

  • Appthority
  • CloudPassage
  • Content Raven
  • Dome9 Security
  • Impermium
  • IonGrid
  • MokaFive
  • Pindrop Security
  • Sonatype
  • Sumo Logic

Thanks again to all who attended and participated in this year’s Innovation Sandbox.  We’ll see you next February!
